A bus has been organised to take players to Subiaco Oval on Sunday 17th.

DETAILS:

Cost:  $10 (includes $5 game fee)

Leaving from:  Steel Blue Oval

At: 9.00am sharp.

Leaving from:  Subiaco Oval

At: 2.00 - 2.30pm

IMPORTANT:

If you plan to drive in yourself, keep in mind that parking will be limited (leave earlier than you normally would

AND

you must be at the oval by 10.00am - this is a WAFC/WAWFL directive, not just a swans one.

Every person remotely interested in attending the game may do so.  They may bring as many friends as they wish.  The more the merrier!!

HOWEVER:

We are required to leave a list of our spectators with the gate at Subi.  No person will be admitted if not on the list.

Send your list to Helen ASAP.  Include on the list everyone you can think, even if there's only the remotest possibility they will actually come.

Not only will spectators be required to be ticked off the list on the way in, they must be ticked off as they leave.  If they aren't ticked off as having left the Oval, their name will be called over the P.A.

If you have worked a saturday mens matchday, your payment for those shifts will be available from Helen before training on friday 8th.

Girls wishing to work the mens matchdays permanently should bring with them on friday their tax decs and bank details.

Princess is 23!

YAY!!  Reserves had their first win on Sunday!!  And a conclusive one at that...about 20 points i think.

Excepting the league players, which is to be expected, no one person stood out...truly a team effort!  Spectators i've spoken to have commented on how great the game was to watch and how much we've gelled as a team.  It was almost a shame to single people out for the best player awards but Jason managed it, barely, and they were, in no particular order - Stotty, Chelsea, Ali-A, Gemma F and Donna (nb:  generally, only reserves players can win the best player awards - doesn't mean we dont appreciate how fantastically the league girls played!!)

Soooo many people to thank...

Jaye Edwards, who gave up her position in the team to run for us.  Her guidance and inspiration before and during the game was, imo, instrumental in our win against Joondalup.  Thank you, Jaye.

The League girls who filled our bench for us - Tootie, CJ & Jugz...it goes without saying - we couldn't have done it without you!  Special thanks to Lisa for stepping down to give Renae a game, and Legz for doing same. 

Our support staff, without whom we would have, at worst, had to forfeit, and at best, died of dehydration - Helen, JC, Tayla, Ash & Garry.

All the League girls watching, and there were lots this time (including the coach), they helped create an amazingly uplifting fantastic atmosphere, plus it made the win all the more sweeter having them all there to share it with us.

Chelsea and Teally - thankyou for opening your home to us for the post-match p*ss up.  Two of the loveliest, most hospitable people i've ever had the pleasure of knowing.  cheers, guys.

This round, Peter T, our club CEO, gave each coach a $25.00 bar voucher to be awarded to the best & fairest from each squad.

The League Best & Fairest went to Rheanne Luggs.  Congrats, Jugz!!  Unfortunately (for Jugz) she didn't attend the post-game p*ss up so Manus gave the voucher to Cheryl Osborne (Skinners Mum) - a token of appreciation for all her help this season.  Thankyou, Mrs O!

Reserves

The Reserves Best & Fairest was awarded to Anna Vergona.  Congrats, Anna V!!   Anna V was also a no-show at the post-game festivities so the voucher was given to the runner-up Best & Fairest, Skye Cameron - but, being the lovely lady that she is, Skye intends to share the voucher with Anna.  Nice work, Skye!
